Trip to the T.O Zoo

Yesterday, bf, brother, his girl, and little brother all went to the zoo. I thought we were gonna go to vaunghan mills, but the kids really wanted to go to the zoo,so i was like, what the heck, let's just go and if it rains, i can say, in your face! hahaha.

but God was on their side, even tho the skies were cloudy throughout the morning, and later into the afternoon it spitted a little bit, but we managed to stay in the shop and looked at the animals in those centers. So when we came outside it was HOT HOT HOT HOT. it was a REAL summer day, something that i haven't felt in agess!! I hope the weather will remain like this for the remaining of this summerr..AHhhh. But anywas, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot, i regretted it soooo much for not bringing sunglasses! the one day you can wear sunglasses, i totally forgot them. i did not prepare at all the day before, because the whole week i was thinking it would rain! and SUNSCREEN!!!. and HATS. OMG. it was so sad. we didn't bring any of those. i wasn't properly dressed either. So definately, if you go on these adventures.

you would need:

SUNGLASSES
SUNSCREEN
HATS
A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY
COMFORTABLE FLIP FLOPS, NOT RUNNING SHOES
TRAVELLING BAG-OR don't even bother with it
POCKETS, for the money
DEODORANT - cos u will stink
Perfume- if u can't handle the STINK of some animals
SHORTS/TANK!!
BRING your own DRINKS! FROZENNN!! (ofcourse, if u wann carry them that is)

OFcourse, that is if u go on those HOT HOT HOT HUMID summer days.

Some stuff i wanna say, that i'm lazy to write out, so i'll just JOT it.

- The DRINKS AND ICECREAm WAS EXPENSIVE! - 5 bucks for a poptical, 3ish for a drink, or 2.50 if u go to the vending machines, BEST if u find the vending machines, not the stands, cos the drinks aren't that cold at the stands and they are more expensive.
- There is ALOT of walking, so if u don't have solider shooes, then you are pretty much dead, because i saw a girl walking in heels, and i almost cried at the sight of that. Running shoes are gonna stink and ur gonna sweat, so don't bother. invest in sandles.
- If you don't get in by 1ish, then don't even bother, bcos it closed at 7.30, so if u do want to get ur money's worth and see everything then go early, because there is crazi travel time.
- America and Canada sucked, we wasted our time in Canada, so if u must, i reccomend skipping this. Afterall we DO live in CANADA. blahhh*
- We started at the biggest place, which was Africa, some of the animals were hidding, or off display, bcos some event, or too hot for them.
- The polar bears would be out at AUG 1st, so if u want to see them go then. THe flemmingo was off when i went, becaue of the event, they wanted to let staff members see the polar bear first before the public seees it.
- YOu will need the friggin map, so don't forget to take it at the enterance, because you will get lost.
- Watch out for bird shit. hahaha
- bring an extra camera, if urs dont have enough memory or isn't charged, because i was lazy to put mine in to charge, and it died after we finished Canada, so i didn't get half of the stuff :/. so i gotta jack steven's girl's pic now. hahaha. U will regret it if u forgot ur camera

So anywas, the plan was we were to meet nancy there, but she was not motivated to go, because it looked like it was going to rain, and the friggin weather man always lie. THUNDER STORM? buddy, i didn't see sparks until i left missisauga, which was like at 9ish. so there was sunshine after about 2-3 ish for the whole friggin day. i was burning like eggs. so you know me, when i was like sweating to death, i had to txt her to let her now how wonderful the weather is. hahahaha..

Anywas, the animals were pretty cool, they had some indoors which i'm not that big of a fan off, but also outdoors. Some of the animals, u only saw like 1 or 2-3 of, which was like disappointing, cos it seemed like they died off or something. There was this gorilla, monkey tha was just laying in the corner stratching itself. it looked like it was sick, bored, or like dying. i don't know. poor thing.

i was just a little disappointed bcos i guess we were expecting to see more exotic animals that we've never seen. But that didn't really happen. especially when the flemingo was off display. wtf. i never seen one before.

So anywas, after a hard day at the zoo, we headed to missisauga for some Pho88, because steven wanted asian food, so we all ordered food and drinks. omg. we totally pigged out, all the calories u burn walking, is doneeee! hahaha

So when we were leaving missisauga, we encountered a life and death situation....

It was a yellow light, and hunnie didn't approach the intersection yet, so then i said, hunnie!, then he gased it and went across, and at the time the car at the intersection was going to make its turn, so basically it came out of no where, so baby swerved the car to the left, just enough so that that car didn't collide with us, bcos i guess they saw us coming and braked it crazy. So then swerving to the right, we saw a man on a bike , he wanted to bike across, so then kong had to swerve back to the left, and now we are facing a damn divider with a pole, so he had to swerve again to the right and back to the lane...so basically we went through 3 obsticle, the car turning, the man, and the friggin dividor. my heart almost fell out of my ass, i don't think i even breathed during that time. it was so intense, thank god, nothing was hit, the car is in one piece, there was NO COP! and we drove off like normal....it was crazy. it was the first time i was in such a close to accident thing. yeah, so then i got kind of mad at him. i was proud that he handled it so well. serious, we were like drifting..i felt like i was in fast and furious. the stering was like friggin crazi, i remember hearing him stering the wheel so fast. the whole time i i just kept thinking. DAMN, don't HIT dont HIT!! sigh... what a way to finish the night..

So then after we finally arrived home. and just bummed out, and knocked out. it was intense.

This was at MC.D our break in between before we got to the ZOO for lunch. This is whent he hair was still nice and the make up in place

yeah, kevin caught me off guard, totally paparizetti...we were lost okay...

we went to vn to get these photos done...AHEM..hahaha

in one of the exhibition thingy..indoor stuff...yeahh..got lazy to carry the clutch ya know..

there would've been more pics, but my camera kind of died..so like yeahhhhhhhhhhh.....

FOTD - Neutral Eyes

Products:

Mac Bare Study Paintpot
Mac Naked Lunch
Mac Satin Taupe
Mac Handwritten
Mac Gleam

This is a similar look, but i don't remmeber what colours i used. I think i only used Naked Lunch and handwritten.

So the other day, i was in Missisauga on a shopping spree. My bf and i went to the outlets after we browsed about square one and found nothing good. We went into Style Sense, for a quick last stop before it closed, and i found the love of my life...with a big price tag

They are Christian Dior, originally 700, but being sold for $399. Surprisingly, there is only 2 sizes left, a 5 and a 6. The 6 is what i tried on and it was the floor model. It was a bit damaged, but none the less friggin beautiful. The colour was sooo pretty..URGHH..it was even comfortable! how many heels now a days actually feel good in your feet? but the price tag was too biggg..:(

Mac Colour Craft Complete Haul

I was super excited about this collection, because the MSF and all the glitter. I think the eyeshadows are definately something to check out if you are a Mac collector, though the only problem i have with them, was the colour combination. It was difficult to chose one, besides the Natural Flare, because the colour felt repetive and uncompatible to me. I almost wanted to get Girlish Romp because i thought the colours were cute, and girly, but all the colour were corally and bland, there wasn't a darker colour to do smokeys. So i guess i picked up almost one thing from eaach of the item released, except for the those Marble lipglosses. I like how they look without being used, and i don't want all the colours to blend, once i start using it. :/

1. Mac Natural Flare e/s

- i was hesitant to get this quad, because i thought it would be more suitable with a tan complexion, and it may come off goofy on me, because i'm so pale, but i actually really glad that i picked this up, FOR FREEE -YES- i GAVE BACK TO MAC and picked this up for free! which makes it better. Anywas, i have not tried the orange colour, i have a thing against orange, i guess because it makes me look very dirty and gross, but i really love the other three colour. It would look fab with dark colour eyes, and a tanish complexion. THought i feel that when i apply it with the brush alone, it's does not come off as pigmented as i like, so i compromised and used a similar eyeshadow colour as a base, because apply this-this way the colour pops more. You could also use a matte cream base to achieve the same effect.

2. Mac Smooth Merge m/s/f

i've already done a review on this in the other blog, check it out.

Mac Improvise

i love love love coral colours. This is a peachie coral colour. It reminds me of seashells, for some reason, but the colour is fab as a highlighter. I really love this one because it's not as shimmery as the MSF from this collection, but it still gives you a sheen look. It looks wonderful on pale skin, and i def reccommend this. You can use it by itself, if you just want a little glow, or use it as a highligher, and then apply a darker shade matte blush for contouring!

3. Mac Madly Creative

This is a frost finish. Personally, i don't love frost finish, i'm more a lustre, sheen type, but the colour swatches i saw for this online looked too fab to resist. It's a great everyday colour. it's a neutral pink with white pearl. I'm not in love with it yet, but it's pretty. I think the white pearls aren't working too well for me, but this is personal preference. It's still a very pretty everyday colour, but i don't it's realy unique.

Red Earth - Winter Rose

Red Earth products are on sale at Rexall, because they are trying to get rid of their inventory. They would not be at Rexall anymore, so it's 75% off. I picked up this for 3.65 i think, and retail was about 16ish. The eyeshadow is super soft, even more then mac e/s, but it does not have lasting power. I've just swatched it on my hands, and it basically disappeared after 5 minutes. I think because my hands rubbed against something, but you might be alble to fix this problem if you use it with a mixing medium or apply a cream base, or primer. I have not tried it yet, but i'll update, if i try it out. The colour though, is very pretty, and what can i say. it was cheap :)

Mac Nectar

My old Mac Nectar lipglass exploded for some reason, so i brough it in and they gave me a new one. I love that about Mac. Your products basically have a life time warranty!

LOTD-Natural Flare

Brand New LAYOUT!, (credits to BT templates- i would have never do all the coding if it killed me) so i felt super motivated to update, so here is the look using products from the new collection - Colour Craft, Natural Flare.

THe lighting was a bit werid, it made me look super tan, i don't now why. I don't know why i look kinda of drunk?! but i only drank BBT. hahaha.

Nail Art

Pink Gradient and Swirls & Sparkles

i apoligise for the ugly sparkles, they were all i had. This design would have looked fine withou the glitter all together, tho if you like, u could replicate it, with more fine glitters that come in a more consistent small glitters.

Mac Smooth Merge Mineralize Skinfinish

From the Colour Craft Collection

I got the Smooth Verge Mineralizer, because i thought it was absolutely bEAUTIFUL! i got the trio instead of the single, because you get three shades, or you can swirl it to make one shade.

I love the colour in this, but i find it a bit too shimmery for my liking. The other Mineralize Skinfinishes that come in one shade, is less shimmmery. I guess because they do not have big chunks of..."glitter". With this product, I only apply a light layer to give my face a healthy glow. You can also apply it over any non-shimmer blush, to give it more of a "pop". I would recommend these to make up collectors, who would just like something nice from a limited collection, or someone who really loves shimmery Mineralized Makeup.

Swatches
(left to right) All together, bottom, middle, top

From top to Bottom * i rreally like the bottom colour !

With the skinfinish

On my face, i have :

Mac liquid concealer in 110
Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eeye Definer
Define a Lash (pink) Mascara
Mac Smooth Verge, the top two colour
Mac Pretty Please lipstick
Blistex
Mac Naked Lunch e/s
Brows, eyebrows powder

Brother's Grad

Today, my whole family + boyfriend went to my little brother, kevin's gr. 8 graduation. Ofcourse, being asian, we arrived late...well techniquically we were just in time to see him walk across the stage to get his dimploma and awards, so lets just say that we were on time. hahaha. The weather was soooooooooo HOT! thank god the school had air conditioning, else the whole auditorium is gonna smell is socks and old sweating men.

During the ceremony, i thought how funny it was when i was graduating from gr.8, and where i am now. They had the exact same routine. Award giving, meaningful but lame speeches, MCs that couldn't speak, video slide and band performance. Kevin plays a Clarinet?? ahhaaha. I guess i should give him props for being so brave. But perhapes he has another motive, considering all the clarinet players are girls. haha, what a pimp. Anywas, the whole time i was thinkin of what i wore for my grad. I thought it was the most prettiest thing back then, but now i could smash my head against a wall for pransing around in that. I guess that happens to all us girlies.

But overall, going to these ceremonies make u realize ...that one day.... you'll be attending your children's grad. hahaha. Then you'll be the one paying hundreds of dollars for a dress that would be woren only once. Sounds familar huh? Thought so. haha

P.S Yup*, he's a big boy now.."he looks like the CEO of MacDonalds"- Steven
