FOTD Bronz-ie Eyes

Hello everyone!

it's been a while since i've uploaded any FOTD. I've been having skin issue, mainly bcos i was stressed out. So my skin re-enacted WWI and broke out like crazy, so it really stopped me from using much make up. ATM it's just recovering, so i'll probably have a few up soon. I can't wait to play with the stuff i've gotten recently!

This was a look i did one night, i went out with boyfriend. I forgot what we did that night, but i decided to play with my eyeshadows, since i haven't been using them

I've been really loving browns, and neutral shades, so this is the results:

I thought my blends were pretty good, but i don't know what went happening. My camera sucks. but i give it credit for still functioning after all the abusing i do :)



WHat i used:

Eyes:

Patina - base
Embark - crease
Sketch - deepen the crease
Naked Lunch - highlight
and
Stack 2! - middle lid and inner corner
from the Spring Forecast collection, the peachy/coral base shade

OOOPS i LIED, after looking at the photo again, im pretty sure i used COCOMOTION PIGMENT instead i apologise, the stack 2! ive used in a diff look >.<

Lips:

Hmm, since this is a while ago, i can't really recall what i used on my lips, but any nude and soft pink colour would look wonderful

I think i'll build a neutral palette now. I'm really in love with browns, and corals. AHH..Is there ones that you guys would reccommend?

Natural, Neutral FOTD

This is my favourite all time eye look. I always do this whenever I don't know what colour to use. It's very neutral, and can be paired with any outfit. I would say it's appropriate for office work, or an everyday look ( if you have the time ofcourse). You could always smoke it out more if you need a more dramatic look for the night.

The products i used Eyes Mac naked lunch as the base Mac Concrete as the crease Mac Handwritten to darken the crease Mac Gleam as the highlight Rimmel Exaggerate Pencil Eyeliner Lips Mac Creme De Nude lipstick Mac Naked Lunch lipglass

My eyelid space is relatively small, so you can't see much of the eyeshadow, so I would need to smoke it out a bit further out, but for an everyday look i tend to keep my eyeshadow looking subtle & not so noticeable. But overall, it gives the appearance of larger eyes.

i've been staying up late for the past few days, i think that's why i looked so drained and dead like in this photo- but i HAD to attach a photo to show you the result!

Everyday Neutral Look

I am squeezing in a post at this time, before my hectic schedule starts. I would probably not update until my spring break, or the 11th, because i'm pretty much done all my assignments and exams by the 10th of FEB.

Today, i realized that i did not update with that many FOTD ever since i started blogging. I actually thought i had more, but i guess i've been lazy to take pictures.

This is an everyday look that i often do. Especially when i don't feel like putting a whole bunch of make up on.

It's super simple and easy

Here is what i used:



For the cheeks: i used Personal Style, from the All Ages, All Races, All sexes collection by MAC

The palette:

top left: Naked Lunch - crease
top right: handwritten - lid
bottom left: mulch - crease
bottom right: Gleam ( DID NOT USE)

For the lippies:

I used: Shy Girl lipstick
lipglass: Love Nectar

I really love Shy GIRL, i also got PLINK during the holidays, but i LOST ITT..AHH. i'm soo sad, and i refuse to repurchase it :(..............but i might have too. But anywas, this is a great colour if you love CORALS. I LOVE CORAL COLOURS!



And here is the eye look:

Very simple. I would substitute the linear, with a brown, or dark brown, but because i do not have one, i just stuck to black. In real life, the colours are much more vibrant and dark. My washroom lighting is really bright, so i guess some of the colours got lost O.O..hehe

So i adjusted the brightness and contrast in photoshop. :/



AND NOW...TA DAAAA...

I love the lippies colour combination. It was the first time i used them together, and i really love how it looks together. I think this would be my new favourite for some time :D




This is the necklace i have been wearing for the past few weeks. My daddi got it in vietnam last year, when he went back to visit. I had school so i couldn't go, but yup. I do love this necklace, it's so cute.

Nails

So now, Yesterday, i was at Winners, and omg- china glaze? for 5.99 = you know u ave to get something when.......hahahah. They didn' have much left, i guess because it's popular sell so all the good colours are gone, such as the purple, blues, greens and such. There was only a white, pinks, red, and one dark dark dark purple. So i picked up a Hot Pink - Limbo Bimbo


and this one JetStream- which is a clear wash, with purple/pink reflects. it's a VERY pretty colour as a top coat, because it's sparkly and the reflects of the colour is just gorgeous.



So this is what i did, i applied Limbo Bimbo at the bottom, because it's an opague colour and then a pplied Jet Stream on top, and it just gave the HOt pink such a POP, not that it wasn't already, but it gets it depth and more vibrancy.? hahah



i just can't wait to use these later one :) The quality is pretty good. You can definately tell the difference between these and regular nail polish you get from WalMart. hahah. The colour itself is really pretty. I just hope i can get my hands on other colours. I think i need to keep my eyes out on Winners more often now. You don't need more then two layers to adequetly paint your nails, and it dries fast, but then again depends on how thick u apply it. The sparkles are not chunky, and when you touch the surface of ur nail, it's smooth. Overall, i loves it.

So now onto the other stuff. yesterday was a busy today, i went around picking up stuff to get ready for the Wedding. I tried on probably more then 20 dresses, but i feel so tuupid now, cos id idn't bring my camera to take a picture of them. ARg....I need to find a 2nd dress for the Dinner, because apparenyl it would be werid to be wearing the same dress all day. I'm not complainning tho :)

So i was at LeChateau, and found these cute earings..discounted! cos it's outlets!
and a clutch, that i thought would've gone with my dress in the previous post, but it's a bit too red......sigh* but i still loves it

This is a similar look, but i don't remmeber what colours i used. I think i only used Naked Lunch and handwritten.



So the other day, i was in Missisauga on a shopping spree. My bf and i went to the outlets after we browsed about square one and found nothing good. We went into Style Sense, for a quick last stop before it closed, and i found the love of my life...with a big price tag




They are Christian Dior, originally 700, but being sold for $399. Surprisingly, there is only 2 sizes left, a 5 and a 6. The 6 is what i tried on and it was the floor model. It was a bit damaged, but none the less friggin beautiful. The colour was sooo pretty..URGHH..it was even comfortable! how many heels now a days actually feel good in your feet? but the price tag was too biggg..:(
