This an eye look i did 3 years ago that never got posted. I only did the eyes. I forgot i ever did an eye look like this. I'm thinking of re-doing this look sometime soon.

Looks like it would look amazing for St.Patty days. Green is also one of my favourite colours!

SEXY Valentines Day Look 2011

Yesterday, i did a Natural Valentine Day look. Today, I really felt inspired to do a sexy, smokey valentines day look. I think this one was much harder to pull off, because my face is far from looking anything like sexy. But i took up the challenge.

The colours were suppose to be a reddish copper, brown, and black...with a bright magenta, but the shadows kept oxidizing on me. This is the best i can do in capturing the colours. I still have to say that it not very representative of the real look

this look is very bold. I literally packed on 10 pounds of eyeshadow. There is a lot of layering involve. I kind of did it in a rush, so you can tell that my blending is a little..EHHH in the pictures. This look is definitely for those of you who like bold dark colours. Red looks very intimidating but it's not that bad, if you keep it within your lid-space.

It was very hard photographing this look. I don't know why. Maybe because the colours didn't stay true. I'm a little disappointed with that. It would have helped if it didn't get dark so early here.

But anyways, I think this would be my last look for a while. I just felt the URGE to do th is look. LOL. I hope this has inspired you!! & once again, have a wonderful, & sweet Valentines Day.

Natural Valentines Day Look! 2011

Today i felt like doing a look since valentines is just around the corner. The emphasis of this look is on natural, beautiful glowing skin. I think that for a day like valentines day, you want to look pretty and "glowing". When you are in love, you look & feel happy, healthy, blessed, and this is all reflected in your complexion. Having that "glowing" face just makes you look like your in love. hahaha. Does that make any sense? ANYWAYSS....

So here's my look:



It's quite simple. I sticked to using pretty lashes, blushes, and pink lipstick. I decides not to do major eyeshadow blending, because i've already done a Valentines look with pink and purple eyeshadow last year. So i thought i should do something a little more simple - something everyone else can also do.

FOTD: Girly Purple and Blue Look

It's been a very long time since i've done a FOTD (face of the day). I haven't been wearing eyeshadow as often as before, so today i thought i test out my camera with this FOTD. I'm running out of ideas for colour combos. I might need to get new eyeshadows!

FOTD Emerald Green

Hi All!

I realize the last few posts i've made were reviews. Unless you've been looking to try out the products that i've reviewed, it was just a bunch of yapping. hhaha, but I intend to make my blog a little bit more resourceful so it must be done! Sometimes i do want to update, but then i don't really know what to write about? My goal is to update a bit more often, which explains why i already have like 9 posts this month!. That's pretty amazing for me! i usualyl just do a post a week or so. For some reason, i don't feel like blogging these days~ I've been slow at replying to comments as well, but i'll get back to them asap!

I dont know how it's like where you live, but where i am right now, it's not rainning, but it's super gloomy, and humid. My friend is actually in niagara falls right now, boohoo. She must be disappointed to see this kind of weather. The next few days should be a lot better though! I will be going to visit my bff, as well as do some shopping next week, so i'm super excited about that.

So let's move on nowww..

FOTD Hello Spring pt.2

Hii everyone!

i decided that i'm gonna do a series of spring/summerish looks, because i've been feeling colourful lately. I haven't played with my makeup ever since school ended, because i broke out like crazy, and my skin was healing. I still have a ton of blemishes and it's been making me soo sad, so i don't bother with any make up. URGH, i don't know if anyone else feels like this, but when my skin sucks, i feel a little emo. LOL

Anywas, today i decided to do my makeup, because it's mother's day! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY everyone :D PLUS the weather is so beautiful!!! i can see the sun setting now, and the light is hitting my bedroom window. It's so gorgeous. I miss this kind of weather. For the past few days it's been raining nonstop so the weather was very gloomy and gross. I hate ittt!!

I got a chance to test out the new powder compact i got from

Physician Formula Quick Review: I'm actually so surprised with this powder. My face feels moisturized, smooth, and it doesn't look cakey at all! The coverage is not amazing, but it's good for setting foundation. I'm really impressed by how it makes my skin feels. It's not that dry, powder feel that i normally get from other powders. I was thinking of returning this, but i think i'll keep it around as a face powder.

Revlon Lashes Quick Review: These must be the MOST natural lashes i've ever used. The hair is super fine, and soft. It's almost like touching your real lashes. I love the cross lashes, but i'm disappointed that they are flatter then the average lashes i'm use to. Maybe it'd look better if you curl your lashes when you put these on, HOWEVER, i never liked to curl my lashes or apply mascara after i put on false lashes. For me, false lashes should already be curled, plus, i like to curl my own lashes before i put on falsies. I wish they were a little bit more noticeable. The hair is thinner then the ones i've tried before, so i guess that's why. If you like dramatic lashes, you might wanna skip these. They are very comfortable though. I love how light they feel on my eyes.

Overall, this look is very pink! very cute, and simple. I enjoyed doing this FOTD. You can use any pink and yellow eyeshadow you like.

I had some fun with the camera. These pictures were taken in my room. My curtains are pink, so the colouring is a little more reddish/pink then usual. I usually take pictures in the washroom where the lighting is very bright and white?

Here is the full look:


Do you see that shimmer on my cheek? It's the pretty SMooth Verge Mineralize SKinfinish. I love it for highlighting. It makes a difference when you take photos! LOVES
^^ those lashes were giving me a hard time. MAINLY bcos they were like flat, and it wouldn't bend to the shape of the eyelid.
^^ i'm loving the lipstick also. It's much more brighter in life. ITs just my camera. But none the less BEAUTIFUL coral colour.

YUP. i hope you like this FOTD. I had fun doing it. And i LOVE spring. Mainly bcos i was born in that season. LOL.

FOTD Bronz-ie Eyes

Hello everyone!

it's been a while since i've uploaded any FOTD. I've been having skin issue, mainly bcos i was stressed out. So my skin re-enacted WWI and broke out like crazy, so it really stopped me from using much make up. ATM it's just recovering, so i'll probably have a few up soon. I can't wait to play with the stuff i've gotten recently!

This was a look i did one night, i went out with boyfriend. I forgot what we did that night, but i decided to play with my eyeshadows, since i haven't been using them

I've been really loving browns, and neutral shades, so this is the results:

I thought my blends were pretty good, but i don't know what went happening. My camera sucks. but i give it credit for still functioning after all the abusing i do :)



WHat i used:

Natural, Neutral FOTD

This is my favourite all time eye look. I always do this whenever I don't know what colour to use. It's very neutral, and can be paired with any outfit. I would say it's appropriate for office work, or an everyday look ( if you have the time ofcourse). You could always smoke it out more if you need a more dramatic look for the night.

My eyelid space is relatively small, so you can't see much of the eyeshadow, so I would need to smoke it out a bit further out, but for an everyday look i tend to keep my eyeshadow looking subtle & not so noticeable. But overall, it gives the appearance of larger eyes.

2nd Valentines FOTD

Hey guys!

So today was a rough day for me. I had an exam at 10:oo AM Sat, Feb, 6th. I only got 3 hours that night, and it wasn't because i was staying up to study. You see, i live in a college area, and my neighbors are insane. They made an ice rink in their backyard, and a group of guys were playing ice hockey until 2.30 in the morning. The problem was i couldn't fall asleep until 3.ish, and had to get up at 6ish to review some notes. I really hate having morning exams, i'm pretty much brain damaged during those times :/ But glad to say that the exam went VERY well, so i guess everything has paid off.

The college student experience gets worst. After many years of living here, i have learned to hate college students. Well, hate living beside them. Some of them can be so irresponsible, and inconsiderate of others. I'm should stop ranting

So when i got home from my exam, i took a nap for about 3 hours. I didn't have a deep sleep, but i guess that's okay, because i will sleep well tonight...that is, if the students let me sleep. I can hear them right now with their loud guittar and what not. GOD> help me

SO ANY WAS....back to the point of this post. I decided to take a break from studying, school and everything and have some...fun. This is my second valentines day look. I was inspired by a the cover of the Sephora catalogue that i just received in the mail.

I tried to get it the same, but i dont' think the result was that similar. None-the-less, i would say that this is a very appropriate valentines day look.

I used pink and brown eyeshadows, but i don't understand why it looks more like purple in pictures? It must be the flash, or the light in this room. :/

Note: Yes, the lashes on the left eye was coming off. hehe. i didn't realize that until i finished photographing. >.<

So for the rest of the face, it was quite simple. THe major focus was the bright hot smoking lips. It's valentines day, we should all pucker up with hot looking lips for kisses ...haha...and ofcourse no one colour would do that justice besides PINK!

I didnt have the shade of pink in the sephora categlogue. So i ended up using two lipsticks in hope of obtaining a colour to some similarities. but sadly i have failed. The one in the Sephora picture has more of a purple tint to it. I don't own anything purply. :) that means i need to do some shopping. haha

Now in the washroom:..........why do i look so white?? !!




This look is very simple. The main focus is the bright fuschia, hot pink lips. I am dying to get a colour like that now. :D Anyone have suggestions?

I also used very natural lashes, they are much shorter then the regular ones that i used before. If you guys want to experiment with this look, i suggest keeping the eyelid part popping with whites/ or a light shade ( just like in the picture) this makes the eyelid appear bigger. I know because i have small eyelids. hehe. But overall, i hope you guys enjoyed &

Everyday Neutral Look

hi darlings

I am squeezing in a post at this time, before my hectic schedule starts. I would probably not update until my spring break, or the 11th, because i'm pretty much done all my assignments and exams by the 10th of FEB.

Today, i realized that i did not update with that many FOTD ever since i started blogging. I actually thought i had more, but i guess i've been lazy to take pictures.

This is an everyday look that i often do. Especially when i don't feel like putting a whole bunch of make up on.

It's super simple and easy

Here is what i used:



For the cheeks: i used Personal Style, from the All Ages, All Races, All sexes collection by MAC

The palette:

top left: Naked Lunch - crease
top right: handwritten - lid
bottom left: mulch - crease
bottom right: Gleam ( DID NOT USE)

For the lippies:

I used: Shy Girl lipstick
lipglass: Love Nectar

I really love Shy GIRL, i also got PLINK during the holidays, but i LOST ITT..AHH. i'm soo sad, and i refuse to repurchase it :(..............but i might have too. But anywas, this is a great colour if you love CORALS. I LOVE CORAL COLOURS!



And here is the eye look:

Very simple. I would substitute the linear, with a brown, or dark brown, but because i do not have one, i just stuck to black. In real life, the colours are much more vibrant and dark. My washroom lighting is really bright, so i guess some of the colours got lost O.O..hehe

So i adjusted the brightness and contrast in photoshop. :/



AND NOW...TA DAAAA...

I love the lippies colour combination. It was the first time i used them together, and i really love how it looks together. I think this would be my new favourite for some time :D




This is the necklace i have been wearing for the past few weeks. My daddi got it in vietnam last year, when he went back to visit. I had school so i couldn't go, but yup. I do love this necklace, it's so cute.
